The Arturo Sandoval Institute (ASI) is a nonprofit organization founded by legendary trumpeter and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Arturo Sandoval, with a singular mission: to transform lives through the power of music.
Rooted in Arturo’s personal journey—from a young boy in Cuba dreaming of playing music to becoming one of the world’s most celebrated jazz artists—ASI was created to ensure that every young musician, regardless of financial background, has access to the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to pursue their passion.
